Life's Lessons

Hello to all who are reading my blog. If you are reading this I really thank you for giving me some of your time in this short life we all are living. It seems as I age the faster life seems to be moving. I sure wish that I could be a teenager again but with the knowledge that I have now. (What little that is) it seems that as I age the more I realize just how little I really know! Life has been my teacher for a very long time and the lesson that I just learned was just how much I can do with one leg missing. I had my lower left leg Amputated just below my knee about three months ago and I am just about to be fitted with my first prosthesis now that my stump is finally healed. I have taken this long to heal because I fell about a month or so ago and tore open my stitches and had to go back to the hospital and have more surgery to fix the damage that I had done to my stump. The hardest part of all this for me has been the waiting for my prosthesis so that I can get back on my Bicycle and get off of my couch and out of my house. My wife Lori Ann has been so very supporting to me I really do not know just what I would do with out her in my life I love her so very much.
